General Description: Project Cornerstone is the youth development initiative for Silicon Valley. Our work is based on the developmental assets framework and promotes the positive experiences, opportunities and relationships that research shows children need to grow up healthy, caring and responsible. The School Support Specialist works on a team of staff and volunteers to promote the developmental asset approach among individuals and organizations in the midpeninsula school communities of northern Santa Clara and southern San Mateo Counties.

| Location: | Primarily in the field in Morgan Hill/Gilroy |
General Description:Project Cornerstone is the youth development initiative for Silicon Valley. Our work is based on the developmental assets framework and promotes the positive experiences, opportunities and relationships that research shows children need to grow up healthy, caring and responsible.
The South County Outreach Coordinator will coordinate a Y-USA/CDC: REACH 18-month initiative building capacity in the Hispanic/Latino communities in Morgan Hill, Gilroy, & San Martin. The Outreach Coordinator will work on the Emotional Wellbeing and Overall Mental Health of the target population in close coordination with: the Project Cornerstone staff team, Santa Clara County Public Health Department, Mt. Madonna YMCA, South County Collaborative, and the Project Cornerstone Board Committee.
